- 6 days walking through some of the most spectacular scenery of the Haute Savoie (French Alps)
- 2 nights in a valley hotel -B&B at the start and finish of the trek
- 5 nights in mountain refuges-half board
- Airport transfers from Geneva to the Hotel
You will need to provide...
- Flights to and from Geneva Airport
- All lunches and 2 evening meals
- All drinks
- Any taxi journeys or cable cars once in resort.
- Your own personal kit (similar to that needed on Dartmoor)
- Travel insurance. It is recommended that this includes mountain rescue (unlike in the UK, it doesn’t come free in France)
Phil and Sally will hold a pub meeting as a chance for the group to get together beforehand. We will also discuss kit, plans and answer any questions you may have.

Levels of fitness and technical skill required for the journey will be similar to those achieved through regular walking in UK mountain or moorland areas; you should undertake a few walks of about 5 hours in length just prior to the trip
